Our inaugural conference was held September 2013 in Austin, TX. More than 200 people gathered to learn about technological advancements in desal, Texas regulations, financing options, and lessons learned from existing projects. Our keynote speaker was Carlos Rubinstein, who had just been appointed Chairman of the Texas Water Development Board.“Thank you Texas Desalination Association team for an excellent conference on Sept 12th and 13th. I enjoyed participating as an exhibitor of our innovative process as well as attending a number of the presentations and sessions. I had the opportunity to meet a number of key participants in the Texas desalination industry as well as glean valuable information and insight into the future of cogeneration desalination in Texas, review of lessons learned from existing projects, regulatory perspectives for future projects, technological advances in equipment and systems, and financing options available for alternative water solutions. I will attend the next conference and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in water solutions for the future.”
